The partnership with Myria Games will see the birth of the first celebrity-backed cricket blockchain game. The South African cricketer has chosen to develop this game on the mobile platform, using a play-and-earn model. The game will look to mirror the thrill of playing cricket on the field.
This is not the cricket star’s first stint in the NFT space. Earlier this year, he was actively involved in the Rebel Bots NFT project, DeRace NFT, Art Against War, and several others. AB de Villiers and Myria Games aim to introduce one of the largest sports communities to blockchain gaming.
