The Atlanta Hawks are looking to add a co-star to their lineup that can bring the franchise to the next level, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
In order to pair another star with All-Star point guard Trae Young, the Hawks are reportedly willing to move John Collins. The forward out of Wake Forest is expected to be involved in any deal Atlanta pursues despite coming off inking a five-year deal last summer.
This past season, the Hawks could not recapture the magic that helped them make a run to the Eastern Conference Championship before falling to the eventual champion Milwaukee Bucks in six games. Young earned another All-Star bid, but the Hawks finished the regular season with a 43-39 record and beat the Cleveland Cavaliers in the play-in tournament for the eighth seed.
The No. 1 seeded Miami Heat ended Atlanta’s season with a first-round sweep.
