Building upon the existing relationship, the first NFT gallery in the hospitality industry now expands to the East Coast, underscoring the Dream Hotel’s commitment to innovation and artistry
The partnership between Dream Hotels and The Crypt Gallery was first established with in Los Angeles with the first of its kind physical NFT art exhibit at Dream Hollywood in July 2021. Blending the physical with the metaphysical, the concept of creating in real life experiences, connections and memorable moments while engaging in digital art purchases or exhibitions was imagined by King of Midtown, NYC-based art collector turned innovator in the NFT space and founder of The Crypt Gallery.
Since its debut in 2021, Dream Hollywood has hosted numerous events and activations in collaboration with The Crypt Gallery, including live art drops, community gatherings and guest appearances from celebrities Ice Cube and Liam Payne. The latest NFT art exhibit at Dream Downtown builds on the success of the brand’s existing partnership, furthering Dream Hotel’s commitment to forward-thinking design and creativity.
To highlight the event week, Chevrolet announced their entry into the Web3 space through the creation of a one-of-one Corvette Z06-inspired NFT artwork created by Xsullo, which will be auctioned off on SuperRare and on display at The Crypt Gallery at Dream Downtown. Focused on bringing the digital marketplace to life, the gallery will showcase the original artwork and display bids streaming in live, as well as highlights about the artist and the project. The auction winner will receive the digital NFT of “Own the Color” and a physical one-of-one Corvette. Proceeds from the event will be donated to DonorsChoose, a charity that provides public school teachers with funding in STEM education and classroom resources.
Bridging the gap between physical and digital, highlights of two-day launch event include Whisbe’s notorious Vandal Gummy statue, live art performances legendary comic book illustrator Rob Prior and Ryan Benjamin, professional cartoonist behind both Marvel and DC Comics, and a special guest appearance by Pussy Riot’s Nadya.

The Crypt Gallery at Dream Downtown is one of the many tech-forward initiatives in the pipeline for the brand that taps into current trends and interests to create unique experiences for its guests. On June 24, Dream Hollywood will announce the launch of its Social Club Membership program, purchasable exclusively via NFT and blends real-world activations with Metaverse events, created by acclaimed 3D artist Perry Cooper. Similar membership programs will also debut at the soon-to-open Dream Doha Hotel in Qatar later this year.
